zLaunch(TM) for Windows by Zeus Productions - ReadMe File
This folder includes the 16-bit and 32-bit versions of zLaunch (ZLNCH16.EXE and ZLNCH32.EXE), an example DIR file, and a zLaunch.INI file.
The parameters for zLaunch are read from the "zLaunch.INI" configuration file, or passed via a Lingo parameterList (refer to the example zLaunch.DIR movie)
This example is for illustration purposes only. You must change the paths and file names in "zLaunch.INI" and/or the Director example to match your directory structure, application name, document path and/or projector name.
Refer to the user's manual (at "htmlDocs\doc\zlwguide.html") and the zLaunch.DIR file for more information.
This example expects zLaunch itself, "zLaunch.INI" and projectors named "Proj32.EXE" (for Win 95) or "Proj16.EXE" (for Win 3.1) to exist in the root of the drive. It also expects a demo application named "Demo32.EXE" (for Win 95) or "Demo16.EXE" (for Win 3.1) to exist in a directory called "DEMODIR" one level down from the root of the drive.
The demo applications are not included, and you should substitute in your own application(s) that you are launching. Likewise, you can build projector(s) from the "zLaunch.dir" file example movie.
Refer to the "htmlDocs\technote" folder for tips on creating projectors.
For those upgrading from the demo version of zLaunch, the release version is identical, except it does not post a warning dialog box when the application is launched.
